Student Life
Scope and Contents
The Student Life Record Group documents the activities and other aspects of student’s lives at the Pingry School from 1895 to the present. Event programs include numerous assemblies, dances, convocation, and commencement. Students are further enriched through experiential education opportunities such as the former annual trip to Bermuda in the 1960s-1980s. The Honor Code collection contains documents relating the history of the unique Pingry Honor Code that guides students in their academic pursuits and beyond. The Student Council was thorough in their recordkeeping of minutes from 1954 to 1984. Of course, a history of student like would not be complete without songs and club documents.
